The Waterful Sharing Campaign is a community effort project led by Laneige Malaysia and co-organized with MENGO to provide the less fortunate with fresh and clean water throughout the world.
The campaign aimed at providing the homes with simple yet innovative ways to harvest rainwater which in turn will reduce expenditure on water bills. In addition, the rainwater harvesting systems are designed to serve the homes during water crisis.
The campaign benefited three charity homes located in Klang Valley that include:
1) Trinity Community Children Home
2) Shelter Home for Children
3) Praise Emmanuel Children Home
Apart from fund raising activities for the campaign, Laneige Malaysia, MENGO and a team of environmental volunteers have the joined program to give a helping hand during the installation of the rainwater harvesting systems at the charity homes.
Many activities were carried out during the program that include of cleaning of the homes, sorting the unused and recyclable items, interactive games with the children, colour painting, mosquito traps making and etc.
