Happy New Year Tunza Eco-Generation Family! I wish everyone had a great new year celebration :D
For most of us, creating a new year's resolution has already been a part of the tradition. Thus, I am sharing you this simple yet 'impactful' activity and I'm urging everyone to integrate this in your new year's resolution.
Below is an infographic of a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) procedure of making an eco-notebook. There are six simple steps to make an eco-friendly and utilizable notebooks from scrap materials:
1st - FOLD (fold the used papers crosswise)
2nd- HOLE OUT (hole out the folded paper with uniform distances using a two-hole puncher)
3rd- CUT (cut the folder or any hard cover according to the size of the paper. Repeat this step for the back cover)
4th- COVER (cover the cut folder using old magazines. Get creative with the design!)
5th- HOLE OUT (hole out the covered folder with uniform distances like the punched papers)
6th- STITCH (stitch the paper in a running-back stitch manner using yarn)
You can also compute how much paper you saved through this DIY calculation:
500 pcs of paper (8.5?x11?) paper = 5 lbs, thus, 1 paper = 0.01 lb
1 Eco-notebook = 35 pcs of used paper
Ex. 29 eco-notebooks x (35 pcs/eco-notebook) x (0.01 lbs x pc) = 10 lbs

Really good one. I appreciate the way you justified it with amazing fact like 1 Eco-notebook = 35 pcs of used paper.
Wherever possible we should make use of used /discarded items to useful ones. Thanks for inspiring us , Mary.
