Cycle to Work UAE |

Caring for environment & sustainability is the highlight of UAE government. On the occasion of New Year Dubai introduced the world?s largest display of LED Screen. They use nature friendly products even to create records. Recently many bike renting schemes were launched in Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Sharjah. They are slowly making UAE into cycle friendly country by making more cycle lanes. In this regard Tuesday 13th Jan, 2015 has been declared as #cycletoworkuae day by The National Newspaper. I?m attaching the information of the same in the events page also. By way of this I wish to point out that cycling is one of the best exercises. It is zero-impact sport. If people can commute to their place of work on cycles It?ll reduce a huge carbon footprint.

Great! Most of people think that riding a bike under hot weather makes us feel more hot. But I found it due to the wind made by the speed of riding, I feel cool and feel breezy air. I would like to recommend riding bike to people residing in hot regions too.

UAE has been doing so much for environmental sustainability. I am elated to read many article these days stating the pledge and initiative for cycling. I personally prefer cycling for short distances and yeah its the most affordable and feasible way of reducing carbon foot print. So lets go Cycling :)

Yes , cycling indeed offers multiple benefits -it's good for body as an exercise , it is eco friendly as it reduces carbon footprint and it is much economical. No parking hassles. It reduces traffic congestion as well. Hope more and more office goers go by cycle tomorrow.
