1. ESD as a driver of change towards a Green Economy
Organised by CEE , India?s largest environmental organization , this event brought together experts in the field of sustainability to discuss the role education plays in building a green economy. Chaired by the eminent Mr Karthikeya Sarabhai , the panel of international speakers, which included Osamu Abu of ESD-Japan, Delfin Ganapin - GEF, Rick Clugston – Earth Charter , stressed on the need for renewed focus on making education a key driver in the quest for a sustainable future . I was really honoured when Mr Sarabhai invited me to present a youth perspective on ESD ( Education for sustainable development) to the distinguished audience. My speech was very well received.
