As a part of Environment month celebration, we the children of Jharkhand Children Green club ( JCGC) took part in one  ¿Sit and Draw¿ competition organized by M/s. Tata Motors Ltd, Jamshedpur plant . Around 175 children took part in the contest at Telco Recreation club on 17^th. Jun¿12 , Sunday. The theme of the contest was  - Green way of life.

Every year under the leadership of  Mr. KRISHNAN PRASHANT [ Div Manager(Environment & Effluent Mgmt) , Jamshedpur Works , Engg Audit ]  and Mr. RAM MANOJ [ AGM (Works Construction & Environment) , Jamshedpur Works , Construction ] such wonderful program organize in our locality. Last year this program was organized in open space of Sumant Mulgaokar Park, Jamshedpur. This year the contest was organised in  a hall due to starting of rain at Jamshedpur.

Beside working for environment protection, we should follow Green way in our life style. The winners of the contest will get the prizes on 29^th. Jun¿12 in   the WED closing ceremony. Those are following green ways in their lives style are the real winners of the WED. Let us make our lives style simpler and greener to show the path to others in our society.

In this occasion,  our  JCGC was invited for hosting  our exhibition on  Peace with International  Arts. Our Shibajyoti and Mritunjoy were there in the exhibition. All the participated children, parents and guests have enjoyed the art of children of 68 different countries on peace. On  submission of  the drawing,  chocolates were distributed to all the children by Mr. P.C.Prasad.  Mrs. Rimjhim Bhattacharjee, The Ex- Head of publication dept. of  TML and consultant of Communication was the chief judge of the contest. .
