The Warmest year

by | 21-02-2015 18:34 recommendations 0

This year marked as the hottest year of the year.

And I am not surprised at all. Due to the industrial revolution a lot of green house has been emitted by many industries thus increasing global warming and as a result the average temperature of the earth has increased to a great extent. I could not feel much cold during the winter season as in the past.

It?s official: 2014 has taken the title of hottest year on record. That ranking comes courtesy of data released Monday by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA).

Average temperature as been increasing since 1891 and the trend continues.

The upward march of the world?s average temperature since 1891 is a trademark of human-influenced global warming with 2014 being the latest stop on the climb. All 10 of the hottest years have come since 1998.

So all the work is upon us and we should be doing something in order to stop this trend. Energy consumption should be less and we should focus on eco-friendly practices and systems. We should encourage everyone to follow the eco-friendly practices and involve the whole community in it.

Small action counts a lot so lets do something right from now.

Greenhouse gases are trapping more heat in the Earth's atmosphere, which is causing average temperatures to rise all over the world. It's all in our hands to stop this phenomenon of "Global warming" by reducing our individual carbon footprint and adopting eco-friendly lifestyle.

@sabin Sapkota- Thank you for this informative report (I just wish the report to be detail than this) The rising temperature is consequence of accelerating industrialization and up surging pollution. If each of us realize our responsibility towards environment then for sure we can overcome the challenge together. it is never too late to start good.

The negative effects of global warming totally affect Africa, Tanzania is among of them. Europe nations witnessed the development of Industries and thus polluting alot of green house which destructs ozone layer and hence global warming. As for the fact majority of African countries like Tanzania we have never experienced industrial revolution.

Yes Sabin, this is shocking but true.
This trend is totally against environment.
It becomes our collective responsibility to take effective measures, create awareness in our respective regions & arrest this problem.
