Saving the environmental is not only campaigning, visiting rural area, making a mass movement, or other mega projects. Sometimes, simple things can also contribute and if it is done by many people, simple things can compete with a mass movement. Here is some simplest environmental saving actions that we can do at home.

-          Utilizing plants as home decoration.

Lately, my mom likes to put some plants inside the house. She basically likes using plant as decoration because it will bring relaxing atmosphere among brick walls, modern material. I guess, another reason is plant can serve as natural air purifier. Yes! It will supply oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. Having them inside house can save money to buy air purifier. It is affordable and full of benefit but we invest time to care for them.

-          Utilizing plants as house fence

Having fence is kind of outdoor decoration and part of house security. People usually use some materials like iron, aluminum, bricks, wood as fence material. But I find some houses around my neighborhood utilize plant as their fence. I guess it is really eco – friendly thing! When I look for what kind of plant that can be use as fence, I find something interesting fact that I never know before. (Maybe, some of you have already known about this, I am sorry for not staying update). People have already use plant for being fence since ancient times. It has already begun since many centuries ago and the question is, why do people nowadays no longer use it anymore compared to the past? I guess, people do not want to spend time to care for it or use extra money to pay gardeners. Yeah! I have to admit that other materials are more practical. But at least, we have to contribute a little time or a little money to environment if we can. Do not be too stingy for the sake of the environment.

-          Use Air Conditioner Occasionally

At my home, there is no air conditioner at all. Yeah! Perhaps some people will say that my family is poor, but it is up to them. I guess we have to buy equipment that we really need to take the advantages from it. Not just for following the trend. Nowadays in my city, many people buy and use air conditioner. Somehow, it burdens them on electricity bills. Even some of them can stand for a condition, where their house electrical system often down due to over capacity. To avoid high bills, they do not upgrade their electrical system to the authority. Wasting time, wasting money, wasting energy, those are I get from this phenomenon. Just use air conditioner, if the temperature is very hot and makes you over dehydration.  As your information, air conditioner makes your skin dry and there are some brands which contain ozone depletion material.
