Ecosystems are reserves with great diversity of flora and fauna on the planet, inhabiting a site and interacting with each other with the environment. Humans depend on ecosystems to meet our needs because we use to provide environmental services. Almost all the activities we do every day, require the use of some natural resources from ecosystems, which is why population growth has been the main cause of the loss of our natural ecosystems, because we need a great demand same.
Soils are an important ecosystems that require study for conservation, as they are very complex systems where the life of many living things develop, and participate in biogeochemical cycles.
The soils are nonrenewable resources that are at risk from atropogenica activity, especially agriculture, livestock and deforestation, your feedback is extremely slow and is formed by rocks into smaller particles that are mixed with decaying organic matter. They are rated for study depending on the texture, color, composition, properties, chemical or physical characteristics, among other things. Its most important features consist of permeability, porosity, structure and chemical composition.
Soils may be degraded due to weathering, erosion, transport and sedimentation, when there is the presence of matter or energy that adversely affects the natural environment of the soil, affecting their function and interaction properties, we speak of a contaminated soil.
These can become contaminated in various ways as it is overgrazing, excessive logging, use of fertilizers for agriculture, wastewater and accumulation of industrial and radioactive products.
To achieve the conservation of the same, I am required several studies where soil characteristics and properties are detected, the specific site to be analisar, later to define an appropriate process to remedy the damage that has been caused to it.
On this occasion a study was conducted at an orchard of apples contaminated due to climate change which caused the appearance of a plague which destroyed a whole orchard mentioned, so a study was conducted allowed us to determine better option trees, supporting environmental characteristics thereof.

Hi Arushi, We due to weather conditions decided to plant cherry trees seem to be very resilient and love to animals... =)

Thanks for an informative report on soil and it's conservation.
What was the outcome of the study? What according to the study was the biggest factor leading to spoilt apples and the whole orchard as such ? I am eager to know if you could kindly share.

very well written article, as far as i know mulching is one of the old method for the soil conservation.
