Education has become the most important means and fundamental to the transformation and construction of a country. On environmental issues, education begins to take global relevance when the deterioration of the environment becomes evident and growing due to human action. That's when it becomes impossible to justify the ecological crisis from certain principles that accompanied or accompany the project of modernity. And environmental education as a response arises from this crisis, because the educational sciences dealing with the formative process of man, the development of the same, that is, of how it is prepared throughout his life to interact with environment. Environmental education is defined as an integral educational process, continuous, expressive, full of material skills, experience and useful knowledge about nature and its ecological balance, which must be developed under objectives and goals, in time and space covering education at all levels and all ages. Its application has to be developed as a continuous and permanent, leading to educate, guide and develop strategic values that achieve prevent and solve environmental problems of the present and future process. Thus promoting the formation of environmental awareness in humans that allows them to coexist with the environment, preserve, and transform it according to their needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs to preserve and develop the cultural richness of humanity, to produce goods and material wealth, increase the productive potential, ensuring equal opportunities for all, without implying endanger our environment Various forums have raised awareness about environmental issues although much remains to be done, but certainly environmental education is the first step to getting the results that are needed in environmental issues. This time the Tunza Eco Generation program, allowed us to represent not only my region, also young people the world who devote their time to pro-environment. On this occasion we went to the Faculty of Animal Science and Ecology at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua in Mexico, to perform one workshop of environmental education and teaching materials. With support from Professor Gloria Romero Gonzalez, the beneficiaries learned to work together and develop projects for the environment, as well as structuring classes. |

Environmental education is really important as it increases public awareness and knowledge about environmental issues or problems and also it provides the public with the necessary skills to make informed decisions and take responsible action. You and the team did a great job there and happy to see Tunza Eco Gen being promoted there.
