In Mexico there are many dogs and cats living in condition of abandonment exposed to this life many die from starvation, climatic exposure, injury, bony injuries, dehydration, trampling, poisoning, shock, depression to name a few.
These animals are abandoned by people not knowing the responsibility involved and the biological, economic and emotional needs that result when purchasing a pet and decide to abandon them without recognizing that the life of every living thing deserves respect.
Today more pets who are abandoned, are conciderados as urban vermin, which is a social problem due to the repercussions of health and environmental pollution, by generating tons of feclaes stools, outdoor corpses in public roads, areas recreation and landfills, causing problems gastrointestinal and dermatological diseases as a result of their unconsciousness.
At present this is scientifically proven Abuse to Animals is linked to a violent society and that often begins in childhood.
As part of an alternative control populations of these animals, Mexican authorities allocated the Animals Control Centers, which happen to be the first example of animal abuse, since of in most euthanasia performed improperly, causing extend the pain and sufrimiento of these animals.
In several studies it was found that the best method to control the population of these animals is the sterilization, performing a surgical surgery to make the animals can not reproduce, and long-term decrease the population of animals abandoned.
Thanks to the participation of non-governmental organization, accessible sterilization campaigns for society in the country are made.
It is important to understand that everything must start with education, so we have to share with those around us the following information and help animals living on the abandonment.

Larger number of pet animals than home to shelter/look after is a problem here too especially for cats . Large numbers of cats are destroyed across United Arab Emirates (and the world in general) each year because there are far more cats born than homes can be found. So I am also in favour of pet sterilisation . Infact , just to share that sterilising cats actually extends their life expectancy, and they do not develop many diseases they would unsterilised. They are a lot calmer, a lot more loving to the owners and become very placid and non-aggressive. The procedure is simple, the animal does not suffer in any way.

The problem is same here in Korea also. Well, you know how the pets recognize their owners. They see their owners like living gods and love to death. Abandoning pets can't be accepted in any situation.

@Ilsel Loera- I am happy to see sterilization events for abandoned dogs in Mexico. Being a veterinarian, this is a very sacred work in my profession. In Nepal also, HART an organization is organizing sterilization for stray dogs in different cities of Nepal. From the environmental and zoonotic point of it is an effective step.
Is it you in the photograph?
