Empowering the Youth for a Green ASEAN Community |

The head of the Environmental Management Bureau-DENR, Ms. Elenida Basug presented the theme of the ASEAN Environment Year which is Empowering the Youth for a Green ASEAN Community.
The following presentations were made for the information of the inter-agency committee:
Everyone was also asked to support upcoming activities for Earth Day, Earth Month and other local and international environmental events.
Those who attended were from the different offices of the DENR, University of the Philippines School of Environmental Science and Management, National Youth Commission, Philippine Business for the Environment, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Department of Science and Technology, Commission on Higher Education, Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Social Work and Development, Department of Education, and me, representing the youth.

hello Bam! this was such a great opportunity! :) I am also from the Philippines. Can you update me regarding the Updated National Environmental Education Action Plan 2014-2018 with the ASEAN Environmental Education Action Plan ( AEEAP) for collaborations and partnerships? I hope we can have partnerships in our upcoming events:)
