Riau, Indonesia - There is a unique marriage ceremony. Fikri Pohan and Evatma Dewi held their marriage with sharing a love as big as the one they have for Sumatrans elephants - the animals that brought them together in the first place. Their lucky animal also played a central role in their unique wedding ceremony - the groom rode on an elephant?s back to join his bride?s house in the village of Lubuk Kembang Bunga.

The idea of this unique wedding ceremony came from Syamsuardi, WWF-Indonesia?s Flying Squad Coordinator: ?We wanted to give our friends a memorable and priceless experience for their marriage. But in doing this, we also wanted to show to people that elephants and human can live in harmony.?
