Palliative Care

Well fellows !!
Today I am going to inform you about something very new!!
I do know that it may doesn't go with the environment. I can't but share this with you. And today's topic is Palliative care.
let me be clear about this
?Palliative care is the active total care of patients whose disease is not responsive to curative treatment. Control of pain, of their symptoms, and of psychological, social and spiritual problems is paramount.?(WHO)
So you can divide this care in four parts
1. Mental support
2. Physical support
3. Social support
4. And spiritual support
Recently I have done a course on this and i get to know this a very important role here for the community people of the society. Doctors can only do the treatment means the physical support but what about the other three? Yes !! Its the responsibility of ours.
And i am learning about this day by day !!
Need a suggestion or permission, should I write on this topic with writing about environment?

@Fayshal: Thanks for introducing new term "Palliative Care".With a focus on quality of life and a holistic approach by giving the 4 kinds of care & support you mentioned, palliative care seems helpful for patients and families through serious illnesses.

Recreational agriculture seems so appealing especialky for people at retirement who can enjoy nature, remain healthy and in bonus get home grown fresh fold to eat. Which will ultimate make them healthy. Hehe
thanks for the great comment Elson.

Cool! I would also like to share about the concept of recreational agriculture that is somewhat related in a sense that it caters not only food production but the benefits from the process itself. It aims to achieve physical and mental integration of the recreational farmers from the seeds until products are harvested. Although its more of a form of relaxation activity for those at retirement ages than an actual medical care.

Dear Fayshal, health is not merely an absence of disease but a state of complete physical, mental and social well- being (WHO). I was not familiar with the term Palliative Care and its new for me. Of course you can update reports relating the importance of peaceful healthy environment in palliative cure. I look forward to reading your insightful report :)
