The United Nations Organization (Washington DC) had issued about $4, 1 million dollars of carbon credit to a reforestation project in Brazil. Because of that, this is the first forest project to get official temporary certificate of Carbon Emission Reducing (CER) from the World Bank. The fund BioCarbon which is an entity from the World Bank shall purchase credit carbon on behalf of its participants who include some European governors and some firms that release significant amount of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere in countries like Japan. Temporary Certificate of Carbon Reducing is sent to entities that join reforestation projects and which are framed under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the United Nations. It is possible to mention a great example of a project that successfully applies the idea. The project called "Plantar"produces Carbon Emission Reducing credits by decreasing greenhouse gases that comes from the using of fossil fuel for the iron industry of Brazil. Moreover, by the using of commercial forests of Eucalyptus as a way to store carbon and change it to oxygen. Since 2001, the mission to create a sustainable certificate was hard but finally it becomes a fact and a reality among companies and organizations. According to Joelle Chassard from the World Bank, that was a very positive achievement for all firms around the world and the representatives of the project "Plantar" are truly witnesses of a innovation They deserved it because they dedicated to reach that.
