In July, Gulf News, a UAE national daily, conducted a green survey on carbon footprint in the UAE.
The Gulf News report discussed the variety of ways in which individuals can help the UAE go green.
Using the forms of energy available to us more efficiently and judiciously can go a long way in making a lasting impact.
As an addendum to the report, they also published articles that featured me and a number of young members of society who follow green practices and adopted the 'green lifestyle' to reduce their carbon footprint.
Although the UAE has one of the largest carbon footprints in the international community (due to lack of trees and natural greenery as an effect of desertic climate), incessant efforts by everyone collectively will no doubt mitigate the carbon footprint to a minimal:)
