Earth is a miracle. Earth comprises of what every organisms need to survive, reproduce and continue their life cycle. Earth itself is self-sustaining ecosystem. Every organisms is surviving in balance in this perfect ecosystem But due to human encroachment, it had brought disturbance in life cycle of organisms. As a result some organism are vulnerable, some are endangered, some are extinct and as well some organism that are importance to human beings are performing well in this miracle.

Forest is natural and we need to give it natural way to grow. As a part of this self-sustaining ecosystem, ?celebrating the diversity and utilizing it responsibly" only works for betterment of Earth and living organism as well. In chain of species, trees are perfect living sculptures fighting against the gravity, growing towards the sun and nourishing their foliage. The diversity of trees, living beings and non-living organisms make a perfect self-sustaining forest ecosystem.

 

There is sufficiency in the world for man's need not for the man's greed. So let go green and plant trees to make our globe clean. Forests had been, have been and will be important part of our life. Every organism gets necessary materials in the forest.

 

Forest are important part of our life from birth to death as we breathe on Oxygen exhale Carbon Dioxide, as forest waters your thirst, as we accommodate in timbers making us comfortable, as we nourish on making us healthy, as we cook on making our food, as we feed animals, protein source for future, as we enjoy on looking its natural scenario, as we sell on forest products to upgrade our standard. So, what don?t we get form forest?

 

Forest is natural and agriculture is artificial. Forest soil is rich in microbes so it is healthy and fertile. Agroforestry produces quality and nutritive food. It provides water for irrigation, healthy soil for healthier food, microbes for better decomposition and many more on the go.

 

Community forest has been great source of conservation of forest and utilization of forest products. So, community forests are growing up in the present scenario. They are sink for CO2 and helps in carbon sequestration. So, know forest lead your life.

 

About the Video:

As part of Centre for International Forestry (CIFOR) video competition on forest and its importance, I and my mate Maddy produced it.

 

Location : Renowned Beeshazari Tal of  Chitwan National Park. It is one of few Ramsar sites of Nepal. Along with these some scenes are of Agriculture and Forestry University and some local scenes.
