Our Planet : New Year Poster Making Contest |

In the new year, our youth community group "Students for the Earth" organized an online 'New Year Poster Making Contest' (with an oath what you are going to do for the year). The idea was to encourage people to not only think for the Earth while creating poster but also to put their thoughts in action and work to Save Planet . Around 30 students sent in their entries. They were all amazing for their efforts and their love towards Earth. I am really happy that this contest was thought and organized by a small girl of grade 7 Priyanka. She is one of our team leaders. She is always very enthusiastic to do anything to encourage others to think of environment. In these months when due to exams approaching , it is not possible to conduct field /outdoor event , it is good to at least have online events like these to keep in touch with environmental values. |
