One Horned Rhino, Beauty of Nepal and everyone knows it?s the endangered and vulnerable wildlife listed by IUCN.

China asked for 2 pair of one-horned Rhinoceros with Minister of Forest and conservation in his visit to China this week

Nepal had been giving Endangered Wild life to different countries in past with the aim of protecting and groing their number in other parts of world too. But this system had been cut off in recent years.

Government can take decisions either to give or to down their propose by Cabinet meeting. Minister said ?, Nepal can handover if China asks formally to Nepal Government.

In past, it was called problematic when endangered wildlife are handed over to international organization. It can reduce the number drastically if it is practiced too long. SO, this system was withheld few years ago.

It can increase Rhinoceros number if it is done carefully and with full plan after studying Biology and Climatic requirement of Rhinoceros and its feasibility in China.

Handing over one- horned Rhino to China may have both positive and negative impacts in our biodiversity. I personally suggest a feasibility assessment and animal rights be taken into consideration before taking any decision.
Thanks for sharing dear Sujan brother :)

I Bet there might be certain reasons for this . Most probably this might be to save this particular species , since China has got better equipment and funds to do so .
    Anyways thanks for the report.

Interesting! Chinese government also give panda bears in a meaning of friendship between 2 countries. In this case, it's one horn rhino. I don't know whether to say okay about it...
