Activities :

Though I continuously worked as the online activist of Greenpeace, this was the first time to receive an email discussing the serious threat happening to environment.  KFC which is the most famous chicken company always used wrapping papers made by Asia Pulp & Paper.  Yet, they were cutting trees in forest and were the number one factor of the decreasing number of trees.

 

Since I believed that the performances done by the KFC can never be justified, I was determined to do a revolt with other people.  I chose my own character and sent an email directly to the CEO of KCF saying that please do not destroy the biggest territory of ecosystem just for a chicken.  After typing in my personal information and writing the message I want to send the page opened for me to choose a design representing myself.  When I chose a Coca-Cola Cup, Green peace checked my information and sent it for me.  Until now, about 4000 people were involved in this act and I wish for further support.          

 

When I finished all this work, I received another email with thank you note and more activities that I can get involved in.  It is a firm truth that in someday nature harmed by the human?s unlimited wants and needs, will someday send a boomerang back to human civilization.  Boundless behaviors of the destruction of nature done by us should be stopped instantly.  This is necessary for not only our generation but also for next generations? well being as well.  Though I can not exactly predict this revolution?s success, if it does, I am sure that KFC inhuman acts of making papers out of trees will be gone.  Also, even if it fails, it will make a huge line in the history, because this is a passionate revolt done by the ordinary citizens to overthrow a massive threat.  I appreciate and respect all their work for the clean earth.  I wish with more active participation, this revolt can be known to other people and run for a bigger dream of environment?s preservation.  I realized one important notion during this activity.  Though these involvements may see small, if these combine as a one, it will demonstrate an enormous power.
