The whole youth group were really excited to go to the official venue of COP 11 The Hyderabad International convention centre (HICC).  We left our place of accommodation at 9 Am and reached the venue a bit late due to traffic, its one of the important problems I noticed in Hyderabad. The expectations were really high about the venue and it never dissatisfied us it was more than what i expected with artificial lakes as well as full of greenery inside . After reaching the main gate of HICC we had to travel  for almost 5 minutes in a Caravan to the HICC then the biggest trouble i faced was the security check  as scanning machines and metal detectors were placed almost outside all the workshop and plenary venues.

The plenary was already started when we reached the HICC  It was an inauguration plenary it was inaugurated by Minister of human resource and development Ms. Purandeswari  after the first plenary  I took the interview of Ms Mirian Vilela Executive director Earth charter. I also introduced myself as the ambassador from India representing Tunza Eco-generation I gave her the brochure of Tunza Eco-generation after finishing with the interview I rushed towards the food court  for lunch. Food court was around  5 minutes walking distance from the plenary venue.

We had a nice lunch in the food court  and after that we moved towards our first working group session on Biodiversity and  Non-formal Education. The first session was  about ESD and Ecotourism – engaging young people  the first presentation was given by Mr Santosh Suthar, he provided the basic knowledge about Eco Tourism and camping . The next Presentation was given by Mr Karthikeyan S, he provided his valuable inputs about  Promoting ESD through Camping / Eco tourism. Mr Vasudeva R.  gave the very next  presentation  regarding Sustainable Ecotourism using ESD in college curriculum. The last two presentations were delivered by Mr Amoghavarsha and  Ms  Famida T   these presentations were mainly concentrated on Biodiversity and ESD using photography as a tool and  ESD in Biodiversity conservation through ecotourism . The whole discussion panel was facilitated by Mr Santosh Suthar. The whole session was an informative one through which I was able to understand as how camping and ecotourism can act as a tool for spreading awareness through non-formal education about conservation of biodiversity

After the Working group session we had a small tea break which was followed by The final plenary about Values and Ethics in biodiversity conservation, the whole plenary was facilitated by Ms Mirian Vilela Executive Director Earth Charter International. After the final plenary we had to leave to chowmahalla palace for our dinner. The Palace was built 200 years ago, after the lunch and enjoying the cultural programme we left the chowmahalla palace at 11.30 in the night to our place of accommodation.
