The biggest lake in our City, Sampaloc Lake, is host to many lakeshore clean-up activities. Yesterday, I went to the lake and talked to a group of youth that were cleaning up around the lake. It was part of a Youth for Christ Summit with 3,000 young people coming to our City. One hundred of those delegates got assigned to clean up an area near the lake as part of the environment activity of their summit. The person in charge of the clean-up was Gary and he explained that this part of their Faith Forward Ministry that includes environment protection. Thank you to the youth from different provinces in Luzon who participated in this important event.
