What is REDD+?: Answering the Question of TUNZA Eco-generation

Hi TUNZA Eco-generation and greeners,
I guess you are so curious about what REDD+ is. REDD+ is one of the term and abbreviation of forestry realm. REDD+ is reducing emissions from deforestration and forest degradation. It refers to mechanisms currently being negotiated under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change process to emissions from deforestration and forest degradation in developing countries (CIFOR, 2009). So, here there are the correlation among REDD+, deforestration, and forest degradation. Degradation of forest is the negative change of forest will influence the stand of tree in forest, whereas the deforestration is the forest conversion into non-forest by human being. There are different definitios of these terms so that these definitions are not exactly meanings. But, many forestrs agree that two above term, deforestration and forest degradation will bring about negative effect toward our environment. We know that climate change due to global warming, loss of biodiversity, and the forest degradation are caused by deforestration and forest degradation. Settling these problems, needed a global initiative. That is REDD+, and it can be achieved by the implementation of properly policies in some developing countries.
REDD+ can be achieved by paying forest owner and users – either through national governments or directly-to fell fewer trees and manage their forests better. But in fact, we know in developing countries confront unclear owner of forest and corruption in foresty sector so thet it is so difficult to be executed REDD+ there. Some international communities and institution of the United Nations attempted to overcome how to execute REDD+. Some easy approachs-based forest community including national strategy and policy options have been done, there have been successful result and not successful. But here, my question is why must REDD+ be implemented in developing countries, and not in modern countries like U.S and U.K?
