What big fish did they catch?

Two days ago, we went out to the lake and saw an unusual sight. It had become cold overnight and by morning, there were large fishes coming up close to the top.  The way we understand it is that the cold water becomes heavy and goes down while the warmer water in the bottom rises. This is called turnover. The cold water with a lot of oxygen goes down and pushes the warm water up. The natural instinct of the large fishes that are bottom-dwellers (this fish is called black mass from the carp family) is to swim to the top to find oxygen. They sort of get disoriented and are easier to catch. So the fisherfolk did some spearfishing early in the morning. They were selling the fish at P20.00 per kilo (.0486 US dollars) by the lake. The average size of the fishes caught was about 15 kilos. That's my brother holding one of the fishes.
