This will be the first Car Free Night from Jl. M.H. Thamrin to Jl. Jend. Sudirman in Jakarta, Indonesia, today, 31 December 2012 from 20:00 - 02:00 hours in celebrating the year of 2013.

We usually have Car Free Day (HBKB) in a certain Sunday throughout some Jakarta District in educating and socializing Jakarta citizens the importance in tackling air pollution and have clean and healthy air.

More than 700.000 people are expected to celebrate with 300 musicians, entertainers, bands whom will perform in 16 stages along the streets to include bicycle communities and marching bands.

The newly elected Jakarta Governor, Mr. Joko Widodo promises a new era of New Jakarta and he will be in Car Free Night mingled with Jakarta residents.
