Hollywood legend , Leonardo DiCaprio , recognized the efforts of GREEN HOPE UAE members for their efforts to conserve the environment in the region. They received special certificates signed by Leonardo DiCaprio at a ceremony. Green Hope UAE promotes the use of sustainable transport amongst its green initiatives and were a part of the launch of the FISKER KARMA , the world?s first environmentally responsible luxury car. Kehkashan Basu , founder of GREEN HOPE UAE , mentioned that ?I founded Green Hope UAE on my return from Rio+20 to carry forward the Rio legacy of sustainability amongst children and youth of the region. In this regard, we are delighted to be associated with Trading Enterprises Fisker and thank them for recognising our efforts.There is an urgent need to move to sustainable transport using alternative energy sources since it does not add to the carbon footprint and Fisker is pioneering this movement globally,? she added.
