Makati City welcomes e-buses |

Makati City is the most progressive city in the Philippines. It is where the financial district is located and has a good local govenrment. This coming April, Makati will welcome a new set of electronic or e-buses that are quieter and cleaner than the regular diesel buses. These buses are hybrids because they work on lithium ion batteries and a cleaner Euro IV diesel. This kind of e-buses will help in fighting air pollution because the carbon emission of one regular diesel bus (like those in the picture) is equivalent to five e-buses. This will also help in lessening the respiratory diseases of people who live and work in Makati City. Congratulations to Makati City!! |
