350.orgUAE and GREEN HOPE UAE?s campaign on World Water Day2013 |

2013 has been declared by the United Nations as the International Year of Water Cooperation. Water is a shared resource which transcends man made geographical boundaries and its equitable, need based distribution is one of the key aspects of global peace and development. This year?s slogan is ?Water,Water everywhere , Only if we share? and it quite effectively summarizes the way forward. The UN Secretary General too emphasized in his message that water is one of the key elements for sustainable development. Keeping the above goals as our targets, 350.orgUAE and Green Hope UAE partnered to take forward the message on World Water Day 2013. We conducted an art workshop where students expressed their messages highlighting the importance of water conservation and sharing. |
