World Water Day is celebrated in Romania only at an academic level in schools, universities, museums, ONG. Many workshops and conferences were organized showing the importance of preserving water resources. For this year the discussions was centered on the main theme of Water Cooperation. The most important event regarding World Water Day was celebrated at Museum Complex of Natural Sciences Constanta, a city port near Black Sea. Scientist, teachers and activist have participated at local conferences with presenting their research result about water resources in Romania, and essays which a raise one question: Do we have enough water for the future generation? Other activities were organized in schools and universities where students compete themselves in creating projects, drawings, and making pictures which underline the importance of preserving water.
