My interaction with Switzerland Students through www.myclimate.com |

A few months back during Emirates Environment Group?s student workshop, I had the opportunity to make a postcard which would be sent to schools in Switzerland by www.myclimate.com. I also got to record a video message for them on how to spread awareness among the young generation. Recently, it reached them and they had called me up so that I could talk to them directly. They are a budding group of students who are very much interested to know various environmental issues and how we here in Dubai are progressing to save the environment. Questions varied from how we water the plants in UAE (being a desert country) to issues on water desalination process and finally to various obstacles in the efforts of spreading environmental awareness among people. We had a very energetic and fruitful discussions for about 1 hour. I have informed them about TUNZA Eco-Generation and also about my own environmental group ?Green Brigade? ( www.facebook.com/groups/371497349573555/). They promised me that they would join TUNZA. In the end, they posted a photo of me on a wall and them with the postcards that we had sent on Facebook and I am sharing that with you right now...... All in all, it was a wonderful experience to share our thoughts to youths of a far-away country who are very passionate about the environment just the same way we are here in UAE............
