The 3rd Indonesia Climate Change Education Forum and Expo 2013

Climate change is one of the most serious threats to sustainable development because the impact is not only  decreasing the quality of the environment, but also endanger to human health, food supply security, economic activity and management of natural resources.


In an effort to overcome and prevent the widespread impacts of climate change required the participation of all parties to do an action in accordance with the responsibilities and respective capabilities. The first step important is increasing the information about climate change, So strategic in adaptation and mitigation efforts can be understood correctly.


Reccognizing this, On 18th -21st April 2013, The National Council on Climate Change Indonesia (DNPI) organizing The 3rd Indonesia Climate Change Education Forum and Expo 2013  in Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center. The expo was officially opened by Indonesia's Environmental Affairs Minister Balthasar Kambuaya, who was accompanied by DNPI Chairman Rachmat Witoelar. With the message ?Working together to save tomorrow today?, the expo participated by the government, institutions and NGO in Indonesia.


I visited the expo in the 2nd day. I became the representatives Kehati Foundation to organized a show in main stage. Me, with my community, Teens Go Green showed a Drama, while me as director and !==!==!--script--====writer. On that day, I met Rida Nurafiati, The Eco Generation Ambassador, same with me. She became a facilitator to guide a students to visit the expo. The Next day, I and Rida met Gracia Paramitha, Tunza Youth Advisory Council 2011-2013 for Asia Pacific. We took picture together and share about the activities each other. Gracia gave us a lot of information. She is full inspiration person. Great to meet her directly. J We discussed how to spread the awareness and to synchronize the network between Tunza Youth Advisory Council and Tunza Eco Generation Ambassador. (*)
