Learning a Lot as McDonald's Kiddie Crew... not me! I am too old for that!

I used to watch the McDonald's Kiddie Crew when I ate at the fastfood branches and would be amused at the children moving about the restaurant like little staff.  I thought it was just a way to keep them busy in the summer. But little did I realize that they are learning so much from being McDonald's Kiddie Crew.

Today, I saw an interesting thing.  The Kiddie Crew was standing infront of the different trash bins and the adult staff was telling them all about recycling. The children were listening and even asking questions.  And I thought all they did was serve burgers and french fries because I was sure they wouldn't even be allowed to get near the fryer.

So now I know that McDonald's Kiddie Crew learn not only about preparing McDonald's food items but many other things. They also learn about music, art and crafts. And more important is they learn at an early age about work attitudes and discipline and social skills.
