When we visited Shirdi last year, it was a memorable trip. So much development has taken place around the area. From a tiny village it has become a buzzing town. Lakhs of devotees throng this place every year. One thing that touched my heart was the widespread poverty & many poor & hungry people around. They were at the mercy of others to feed them. People have prospered but the gap of rich & poor widened. If we give money to them, I?m not sure that it will be utilized for the intended purpose. I decided to serve them with a breakfast instead. At least they will be fed at once. Hot & fresh snacks were being prepared nearby. I grabbed a lot & distributed among them. I think the real value of service lies in donating with hand, personally. You all can do the similar actions in your community & share with Tunza. |
