In this modern era, where energy plays a vital role in the production and contributes its availability for advanced technology which upgrades the society towards development, but at the same time it is the major issue faced by many developing counties including Pakistan. Such issues might be result of increasing population, lack of resources, high demand of power and no planning in past.
According to research specialist, major cause of shortfall of energy is the theft of energy in Pakistan. It is not only bearing domestic/local theft but it includes commercial/industrial theft by capitalists/consumers.
On the other hand, raising prices of oil & gas are resulting less production of electricity as oil & gas are two major components of energy production. Moreover, other titled causes for energy crisis are economic & political instability, fluctuation of oil prices in international market, faulty distribution system, aging of equipment, unproductive efforts, silting process and mismanagement of energy resources.
Although, Pakistan has rich amount of Coal available to produce energy for 500 years and it can export energy to other countries as well but lack of technology and expertise does not used in favor of our Country It might be possible that Pakistan does not want to damage Ozone Layer! because Coal discharges carbon-dioxide (Black Smoke) at high amount which will not only destroy Ozone Layer totally but it can effect on the health of surroundings. Or may be Leaders of Pakistan, who do not think about Human's goals and Pakistan's goals except their own goals Pakistan suffered with such leaders in past and may be in future.
However, possible solution for all these problems causing energy crisis in Pakistan is Government of Pakistan should take quick action and build dams for future to store high range of water. In last decade, Government of Pakistan has been using renewable recourse on energy like Hydro, Nuclear, Solar Energy, Geothermal, Bio-gases, and Wind Energy. Another solution for energy crisis can be People of a country must play their role to overcome this issue by saving energy & reducing the consumption of energy. Moreover, Government should adopt modern technology to increase the level of energy production.

Energy theft is an issue of major concern it must be addressed as quickly as possible because it can help reduce inflation and thus the prices. Thank you for the report Nilesh !

Thank you everyone for your feedback and suggestion for future reports. :)
And yes Minjoo Mentor, one is googled picture and remaining two are captured by me when i visited Grid Station during my study tour with Engineering students.

Nilesh, since stable supply of energy is crucial for sustaining people's lives, there needs governmental power to control its price to meet everyone's demands. Though fluctuation of oil prices does matter, the companies that provide the very essential energy source such as electricity need to be nationalized so that there could be constant supply inside the nation. Thanks for posting, and have a great day! Oh, next time don't forget to write references for your images.

Hi Nilesh, I also came across similar curiosity with Arushi's. How is it that the price for generating electricity is not falling when the whole world has been under the influence(whether that be good or bad) of low oil price for quite some time? Even after reading your report, I still do not have a clue to better understanding about this. It'd be great to read more about the details behind the veil next time! :P take care!

I thought declining oil prices would have given some reapite but due to factors like energy theft, as you mentioned, energy crisis still prevails in Pakistan which is indeed sad and must get attention. Agree with you-dams and other renewable sources of energy should be explored and theft should be monitored and curbed. People too should reduce wastage of energy and use only as much as they need barely. Thanks for sharing Nilesh.
