Youth for Climate Agent - Children Farming and Crayon Campaign |

Hello guys! Here's my new report about "Children Farming and Crayon Campaign". Well, this event held by Youth for Climate Agent (YFCA), one of Green Living Education and Climate Change pioneers platform, collaboration between The Climate Reality Project (TCRP) Participant, Kartika Anjarsari, Regional Ambassador of Tunza Eco-generation, which is me, and several members from Meteorology Students Association (HMME) ITB. Why should we make this Platform? Well, all of us have same Dream, to make a better future for our Earth?s environment, concern with Climate Change and shifting behavior education, and having similar Projects also. Then, Why don't we create it? Beside, it's great opportunity for having Tunza and TCRP names, right? Climate Agent itself came from our Goals, we want to build our societies awareness, instead of changing our behavior by ourselves. So, every volunteer and participant that's being involved with our Projects, would be encouraged to be Climate Agent, changing their Behaviors and also being reminder to their surroundings. So, here is our first project, "Children Farming and Crayon Campaign", held on 24 February 2016. Collaborate with Sekolah Bermain Balon Hijau or Green Balloons Playgroup, we taught children to grow some food, especially vegetable. We told them that it's not easy to grow their foods, even it's taking almost a month to grow a vegetable, and the farmers itself need to watering the plant every day. So, say no to wasting food! After planting a vegetable, we encourage their mother to remind their children, and we tend to see the result from the participant for the next 1 month :) The next thing we've done, we do some Crayon Campaign. It's written "Selamatkan Bumi Kita" or "Save our Earth". Although, lots of children seeing this Draw as a "Sad Ice cream", we explained to them that "This is Earth, Earth is Sad right now, to make him smile, you need to change yourself instead! Do not wasting food, littering garbage, etc". And once again, we encouraged the mothers to remind their children for having good habits. Basically, this event engaged 12 Volunteers, 8 Teachers, 20 Children and Mothers. Encouraging not only participants but also our Followers on Instagram and Facebook :) Thanks for reading my Report, guys! Hopefully you?re doing well and be inspired and empowered! Great job Rafi :) Nice to see you make great contributions for the young generation. With only such activities can we develop future leaders with a sustainable mindset. It was a nice report.

Muhammad, 'Children Farming and Crayon Campaign' is such a great program to educate children. It makes them acknowledge the value of food they eat everyday and also the current situation of 'melting' Earth. Hope these children grow to become another generation of Earth savers, just as you did :-) Thanks for posting and have a great weekend!

Anyway, agree with you thought, beside teaching it here, perhaps you can do the same thing so that our entirely new-generation know their place in the future. Because they're our future leaders!

Great work Muhammad! The picture of the Earth though looks incredibly cute and yummy :p Anyway, I'm also on the same page with Arushi and you that it's really important and effective to teach young kids about environment and that we need to do better. Thanks for posting!
