The period of April 7-13 each year in Rwanda, is the commemoration period whereby Rwandans do remember their relatives and friends who passed away during the genocide against Tutsi. It happened during the period of 100 days since the 7th April till the 4th July 1994. It was stopped by RPF Nkotanyi troops. Unfortunately, more than a million of people had lost their lives, so many fled and there was a total mess in the country.
Genocide was done by Rwandans to other Rwandans which made the reputation of Rwanda so dreadful around the globe.
It was a shame to be Rwandan. Fortunately, thanks to good governance, the country is reconstructing itself. unity and reconciliation is lightening in people's hearts.
Since 1994, Rwandans are commemorating. so this is the 22nd commemoration period. Especially the youth, leaders of tomorrow we are educated in different angles of the moral, during this period. The youth must be the models of the better change of Rwanda and the world in general.

We remember to know about the past. And we know the past to decide of the present, for the better future. Dear friends don't be confused that we must always harm to repent afterwards. It's a vocation for each and everybody to stand for humanity and do good to everyone and every time.

I wish no country would ever be marked by what happened in Rwanda, and I wish youth we should understand it more.
We are involved because we a care about the environment. And the most valuable component of environment is a human being.

Let's all of us shout out: "NEVER AGAIN" to genocide.
Good day guys!

I learned a lot from your report about the civil war that took place and about the millions who lost their lives or got displaced. It is disheartening and I hope humans will grow wise someday and understand that war is in no way a solution to any problem in the world.

I have known about this but not to the very details. Thanks for letting us know. It's also important to commemorate and remember these kinds of tragedies so no brutality like this can ever step on our history again. Everyone has to remember hatred always leads to destruction to all. Just hope everyone who suffered now rest in peace.

Jean, I have never realized there was such a genocide in Rwanda just until I read your report. Every country experiences such accidents during the period of construction, but remembering the past and changing the future is the most important thing to do. I hope Rwanda receives peace and continue its good governance. Thanks for reporting and have a great weekend.

Oh! it's so sad and disgusting that humans have killed humans in such a heavy civil war. I din't know about it till I read your report. Thanks for sharing. I pray to God to give wisdom to Rwanda and all the nations not to get involved in such acts. May God give courage and peace to Rwanda. Glad to note that good governance in the country is helping to reconstruct. unite and reconcile.
