Myanmar with four main rivers

Myanmar, a golden land, is rich in natural resources. And it is aslo fomous for its agriculture. In the same way, it is rich in water resource with its four main rivers which are Ayeyarwaddy,Chindwin,Sittaung and Thanlwin.

Ayeyarwaddy, the main river in Myanmar,is formed at the meeting small rivers which are known as Maykha and Maleikha. As it flows throughout the country, farmers, agriculturalists and our local people have to depend on it.Our government decided to make a dam at the junction of Maykha and Maleikha. If they do like this, there will be no more water flow and our local people and farmers will have to encounter with many problems and insufficient ammount of food and water. So our people decided to stop this program. And our mission is successful completed and our government stop this program.

Another river is Chindwin. It starts flowing from Chin State and its combines with Ayeyarwaddy.Chindwin is also important for us as it can give us a lot of water resource. The other is Sittaung. It also flows throughout the country and it is also important in transportation. The last one is Thanlwin. As its water flow is very fast, we can't use it for transportation but it is important in agriculture.

All the rivers have their beauty and they are very important in our agriculture and they are also homes for undersea animals and so we have to care not to throw away even a plastic bag which can harm our resource and these are a brief drscription for four main rivers.

Thank you for enjoying my report.

Hey Phyo, thanks for posting! Isn't it your first posting? :D Thanks for taking the first step. I know Myanmar is going through an economic boom with every multinational companies trying to capture the market. I hope the development shows a smart way of not sacrificing so much of the nature. Thanks for your first posting again, and just like Minjoo said, please put clear reference next time~!

Phyo, thanks for informing us about four beautiful rivers in Mynamar. We should preserve these rivers against industrial development or building dams. Rivers are essential source for agriculture, and they also provide habitat to various species. Thanks for posting and have a great weekend!

Thanks for highlighting the 4 main rivers of Myanmar. I agree with you -Rivers are very important for not only aquatic life but also for humans and ecological balance, so they must be maintained clean. We should refrain from throwing any plastic or any other waste into them.
