Youths for Wildlife Conservation "Ride for the Animal"

Hello Eco Generation!!!
Its been Long Time I have not updated the report.
April Month was full of Events. And Its one of the most fruitful month I ever had. No wonder, I was so much into organizing different events, I did not even have slight hint that month has already passed.

Okay. Let me write about the main event as indicated in the Title.

On 9th of April, Leo CLub of Chitwan Central, Animal Right Club and One Foot Forward jointly organised Cycle Ralley  on the theme "Ride for the Animal" with slogan "Together we ride, fighting for Animal Right". We were also supported by Kids Against Animal Cruelty(KAAC), Biodiversity Concern Society, Nepal Wildlife Conservation and Support(NWCS), Community Based Anti-Poaching Unit (Budhirapti).

It was fun filled event. We requested participants to come at white t-shirt. Chief Guest of the program were Lions Club of Chitwan Central Past President and Associate Prof. Lions Dr. Krishna Kaphle. We also had notable presence of local conservationist, young students who are working for animal right causes and youths engaged in various sectors.

A great mass of youngster in white tshirt and bike was eye catching for city denizens. We got tons of attention from the public. After cycling almost from one corner of the city to another, we have gathering. Each representative of the respective organisation showed their commitment for the conservation of the wildlife.

And our Dr. Krishna Kaphle sir once again fueled all of us with his energetic and charismatic motivational skills. This further made us committed to our endeavor.
Through this event, I am glad our club Chitwan Central Leo has made nice network with One Foot Forward and Animal Right Club. We are hopeful our endeavor will one day make city dwellers aware about the importance of Wildlife and make them concerned about the issues. The key issues was recent wildlife farming which has sadly been approved by Government of Nepal amid tremendenous pressure from Local and international communities to rectify it.

While writing the report, I am grateful to my eco-gen for making Choosing Wild Life Topic for 9th Essay Competition.

Rahul, it looks like you had a fun but also a very meaningful time last month! Connecting riding bikes and advertising animal protection was a wonderful idea. People who were even not interested could have gladly participated if he or she loved riding bicycles. Thanks for reporting, and I hope ambassadors who are planning from promotion could get some ideas from Rahul.

WOW! What an effort for such a great cause. Hats off to all of you involved in this movement. This issue really needs lot of attention. We have to co-operate with animal rights activists and eliminate wild life abuse from the society. Thanks for sharing.
