Share a Touch of Love and Tunza Eco Generation Promotional Event |

Eid Mubarak to all my friends!!! I started the Cloth Collection drive in the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan called ?Share a Touch of Love by giving your used clothes?. I realized that at some point or other we all have clothes in very good condition that we do not need any more for one reason or the other. There are thousands of people who are in a dire need of clothes, so I asked people in my community to not throw away their clothes instead donate these clothes to the poor and needy. People in the community contributed generously to the drive and learnt that by collecting and recycling used clothes, they can contribute to the reduction of the volume of waste that ends up in landfills. I donated these clothes to various charity organizations, these clothes will be then distributed to the poor and needy around the world in cooperation with an international charity establishments. People complimented me that such initiatives help them to dispose off the clothes that they do not need in proper way and allow them to participate at the same time in a humane and noble cause in addition to the protection of the environment. This Campaign also helped me to raise awareness about the need on the importance of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle for the protection of the environment. Environmental campaigns like this encourage people around us to actively help the environment and an inspiration for the people around us to actively contribute towards a green, clean and sustainable environment. I promoted Tunza Eco Generation among people in my community during this campaign. Thank you so much Eco gen for promotional goods that I distributed during the campaign. |

Great work mohit! Your initiative must have delivered some good messages to the neighbors and they would think of what you were doing when they have a chance to think of environmental issues, and possibly act more environmentally friendly.

Thank you Mohit for such a wonderful initiative! We do believe that inviting more people to this kind of easy-to-join initiative will help not only the people in need but also the persons who support them by donating their unnecessary clothes. You helped them to do something for the people though we don't know in person.

Waste is not a waste till it is wasted. Whether it is clothes, papers, old electronics or anything, they have a value and can be recycled. You took up a good initiative of collecting old clothes -this will, as you said, help the needy and protect environment. Keep it up. Thanks for sharing.
