The capital city of Kenya is facing several infrastructural challenges that has led to congestion in some neighborhoods.
This has led to poor waste management arising because of the inefficient sorting of waste from households. Some neighborhoods are littered. Environmental clean ups around neighborhoods lead to decrease in disease burden in these areas as well as creating safe playing zones for the children. |

I have engaged in several clean ups as well. It sends a strong message to the public and improves public health.

Yes, Environmental Clean Ups not only clean up the place but also send a very strong message of importance of cleanliness. If more and more people get involved in such exercises, next time before throwing litter, they will think twice. Thanks for sharing.
