While preparing the work shop on 'Water shortage problem and its effect on the environment', we were introduced to an NGO, called, 'Open Hands'.
The NGO is helping out villages where water shortage problem threatens the lives of people by providing water bags to homes. I visited 'Open Hands' and told them the work shop we were planning on community children, and people from 'Open Hands' were very supportive. They lent us actual water bags for presenting and educated me and my fellow member how to use them. The water bag has 4 step filtering system to remove virus almost 100%. Since the price for providing a water bag to each needed home is expensive, after receiving education, we decide to open a fund raising account to help this NGO. At the workshop, I demonstrated how to filter contaminated water into drinking water, which made children in awe. The taste of water is fresh and the experience is remarkable. Children received the idea that how much water is important to people's lives and why we need to protect water.

Thanks for introducing to us 'Open Hands'. This NGO is doing a great and noble job by helping villagers who are facing the serious issue of water shortage.
I am really impressed with you decision to start raising fund to be able to help this NGO. Well done and keep up the good work you are doing. World need youths like you.
