Yes, this is the name of my new project at my new school ( CHRIST CHURCH GIRLS? SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL JABALPUR , INDIA).

THROUGH THIS PROJECT WE WILL TRY TO MAKE THE STUDENTS AWARE OF THE CONSEQUENCE GREEN HOUSE GAS GENERATION AND SHORATGE OF POWER IN OUR STATE. WE WILL REDUCE THE MISUSE OF ELECTRICITY IN OUR SCHOOL THROUGH ENERGY AUDIT AND BY INVOLVING THE STUDENTS AND STAFF. WE HAVE FORMED A GREEN ACTION TEAM AND SHARED OUR PROJECT IN THE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY LEACTURE.

WE HAD PUT A SHORT DRAMA THROUGH WHICH WE SHARED THE TOTAL JOURNEY OF THE PROJECT , WHICH WAS APPRECIATED BY OUR PRINCIPAL. THIS WILL NOT ONLY REDUCE THE ELECTRICITY BILL OF OUR SCHOOL BUT TO INVOLVE THOUSANDS STUDENTS OF OUR SCHOOL TO TAKE SIMILAR ACTIONS AT THIER HOMES, AND SOCIETIES.

The current government of our state Madhya Pradesh ( MP), India has started a project named , " ATAL JYOTI ABHIYAAN " . By this project, the MP government is trying to supply 24 hours electricity in every house of our state. The Chief Minister "Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan" said that economy of Madhya Pradesh will be completely transformed through "Atal Jyoti Abhiyaan". For state?s progress, Madhya Pradesh government has made efforts to make agriculture profitable and increase other means of livelihood. He said that Madhya Pradesh will start generating 17 thousand 500 MW power by year the 2018.

Beside generation of more power, the saving of electricity is essential. We students of various schools can support in our school, in our homes and in our societies to save more and more electricity to ensure availability of the power for the 100% houses of the state.

We have started the project at school and expecting within one year we will able to fulfil our initial target with the support of school management and students . Gradually we will be able to involve various schools and their students of this MP state to support the state in making "Atal Jyoti Abhiyan" Successful.

Our action plan

We are trying to meet with Chief Minister , Minister of Energy and education departments of MP to involve 1.32 lakhs schools and their around 1.4 Core students.

In this connection I got the opportunity to attend one workshop organized by CEE ( Centre for Environment Education ), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India from 23rd. July to 26th. July 2013. In the workshop we were taught about project base learning , communication , Environment study etc.

In the workshop total 22 students had participated along with their teachers and projects. All projects were displayed and experts of CEE had reviewed our projects. Given suggestion and guided for action plan. Along with this report few related photographs are attached here.
