Illegal Dumps |

One of the most common problems in Russian environment is a huge amount of illegal dumps. A lot of entrepreneurs prefer to drop waste on a woods instead of paying for eco-friendly clean. It a very spread practice in Russia and buy now there is still no solution for this problem. Mostly it happened because entrepreneurs want to save money, taxation in Russia are pretty big and if they pay for environment safe clean many if productions become just not profitable. So in many causes the questions states as: Close organization or make pollution. On the other hand, closing of those productions will strike economy and weak economy lead to bad environment. So it is like circle with no right decision. At some point government can lower taxation or offer economy privileges for eco-friendly corporations, but unfortunately now they act only after pollution, which is very bad approach. And fine are not that big, so production companies just can take the risk. However, I hope situation will be better few year and people will be more responsible. By the way, Illegal Dumps is only one part of the problem because a lot of people drop waste into a lake. It i much more bigger threat to enviroment because it is really hard to clean the lake and local eco-orgnisation dont have a sufficent machines to do that. Best wishes |

Double agreed! I think there are many eco-friendly legislation in Russia but the problem is, "They aren't working"

It's the problem of our country, Nepal too. I wonder when will we understand that we are all because of our environment and it's destruction will certainly destroy our civilization.

Eco friendly ways of waste disposal should not only be available but should be affordable as well else such illegal dump practices will never stop. Thanks for picking this point , Artem.
