by Sujan Adhikari | 15-09-2016 18:43 recommendations 0

Clean Up Nepal annually organise National Clean Up Campaign and this year also we are with this event.

objectives of event :

With this event, Clean up Nepal aims to connect, engage and empower local communities, community groups, educational institutions, businesses, and local governments to join the clean up movement in order to address local environmental issues in a simple and visible way. Annual nationwide cleanups are a demonstration of communities and groups all over Nepal leading the cleaning and maintenance of the environments they live, work and play in. It is quite simple– register as a local or national partner to facilitate mass cleanup events in your city. These joint visible, positive actions will influence and educate others in our communities and will provide inspiration to care for the environment.

It's interesting that there's a national clean up day. The closest event to that in my country would be arbor day, although it's not 'national' anymore. Thanks for posting! D
