What you can do to prevent species extinction |

In biology and ecology, extinction is the end of an organism or of a group of organisms (taxon), normally a species. More than 99 percent of all species, amounting to over five billion species,that ever lived on Earth are estimated to be extinct. Estimates on the number of Earth's current species range from 10 million to 14 million, of which about 1.2 million have been documented and over 86 percent have not yet been described. This what you can do to prevent species extension:
1.Spread the word to your relatives and social media circle.
2. Reduce your carbon footprint.
3. Buy products from companies committed to using sustainably produced oil in their products.
4. Get involved in helping conservation organizations
According to the United Nations Environmental Program and the World Conservation Monitoring Centre, and International Union for Conservation of Nature, Red List of Threatened Species, Turkey has 16 endangered mammals. Thanks for sharing us with interesting information regarding extinction, Gallimard. I was astonished when reading the 99 percent part. But since that number includes species that were born and extinct before human activities, I guess it may be little exaggerating. Anyways, I really enjoyed your article, and have a splendid day today!

Hmm, this is serious. 16 endangered for Turkey alone - we really must do our best to solve the problem of poaching and illegal wildlife trade. Education is important but law enforcement must really prosecute poachers and wildlife criminals.

Thanks for posting the statistic data of the species near extinction. Intrusion into the wild should be stopped if possible. The map makes it much easier to quickly grasp the status quo of the receding number of animal species.

For reducing or avoiding extinction of types,we have to be conscious of the extinction before all and after that I think we should work to protect species, we should work on a proposition to submit to the responsibles about the extinction and take some measures to stop their using mode.

Gallimard-I think you meant species extinction while writing the caption of report. You may want to correct 'Species extension' to 'species extinction'.
We all can do a lot in our capacities to prevent or reduce species extinction. We should never buy any product which is made out of animal abuse /using animal skin or fur etc. We should stay away from shooting/poaching/taking animals to captivity or using animals for circus etc. Also as you mentioned , by reducing our carbon footprint and leading a sustainable life we can help protect species.
