I think that UAE best implements transformational strategies for a greener community

Environmental protection strategies is of paramount importance in the policy of the Government, that's what made it a leader in environmental protection. Among the key green policies, we find:

The legal framework and government bodies:

-The Environmental Protection and Development Law (Federal Law No. 24 of 1999) is one of the highlights laws to preserve the natural resources and biodiversity and prevent environmental degradation, and minimize the impact on public health and protect the environment from quarries activities.

-Among government bodies: Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) which is committed to the protection and promotion of air and water quality of groundwater, protection of biodiversity, the adoption of global best practices and promot environmental awareness and sustainable development.

Awareness and volunteering:

-Tree Planting Week: On the occasion of Tree Planting Week week, activities and events are varied : awareness lectures, workshops, exhibitions , contests for the most beautiful gardens, in addition to the distribution of saplings, planting trees, and implementation of projects, and the distribution of saplings of local plants.
-National Environment Day: every year the country marks the National Environment Day on February 4 to  galvanise public action and awareness about one of environmental issues.

Renewable Energy :

Solar energy in the UAE is witnessing a very significant development in recent years as its policy clear towards the use of wider renewable energy sources. The UAE began to work to promote solar power generation and developed in April of 2008, UAE wants to increase its stockpile of solar power to 7% of its production by 2020 while Dubai aims to achieve an increase of 5% by 2030. The REN21 has issued its report for 2014, in which the United Arab Emirates ranked third in the world for the production of concentrated solar power in 2013 came Spain ranked first and the United States in second place, while India and Algeria came in fourth and fifth respectively . The city Masdar is one of the largest solar energy projects in the UAE and the world. And being implemented by Masdar company in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi at a cost of a preliminary $ 15 billion from the Government of Abu Dhabi, to meet all the needs of the city's energy through renewable sources of energy as it is for the deployment of renewable energy technology and scientific research center on renewable energy such as solar and wind energy.

We wish more success in achieving sustainability anfd a tribute to our ambassadors colleagues in the UAE :)
