Port-Salut is a region located in the south seaside of Haiti. It is very attractive, in the region we find a beach considered like one of the most beautiful in the country. And this consideration is done by the tourism ministry, and this corner is figured out among the best place to visit. Every year this region receive a lot of tourists, about some thousands, who come to explore the greenness of the region, take sea bath and eat ?creole foods?. Add to the good landscape, beautiful seaside, and a lot of distractions that are offered there, the hospitality of people who live there are very important and considerable.

But after the hurricane which has touched Haiti on October, Port Salut were much damaged, that has due to the center of the hurricane which has crossed the South seaside and ?GrandAnse?. A lot of houses included little house and building (Hostel) have been destroyed. Many trees were brought down by the wind. And that affect the biodiversity in the area.

It was a region with very important biodiversity, it has contained some endemic species ( Plants and animals). Mainly in the watershed which is a source of this biodiversity. The sea has brought many trees, houses, and species of fishes.

Now, there is nowhere to prevent sun, because no trees, the sunbeam is diffusing in all the area without any obstruction. Almost no people visit there, except some of them who want to see and understand the effect of the hurricane in the region. One thing every people can consider there is the beauty of the area despite no trees anymore, but the seaside is still attractive. And there every people says ?Port Salut can?t die, work for put it up like before?
