Free Relation's Awakening project-Academy 'Do Good' Enable Skilled NGO Leaders

 social enterprise company, in collaboration with The Star Leaderonomics through our 'Do.Good.Volunter' Academy launches 'Do Good' which aims to help empower leaders of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) who are skilled.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Leaderonomics, Roshan Thiran said it to help further develop and drive positive change in the country.

"How do we want to make a change in the country? How do we develop leaders (NGOs) to change good? Leadership is not a natural talent but have sharpened their skills and experience.

"So we need to develop a process for developing leaders. We will bring it into focus by developing the capacity and capability (NGO leaders) in their leadership to mobilize the community to help people in need, "he said at the launch of the Academy 'Do Good' at Menara Star here yesterday.

Also present was the Director of Development Do Good, Amanda Chua and Group Manager Corporate Communications & Marketing The Star, Siti Hajar Abdul Rahman

Roshan said, this initiative will not only connect the volunteers and volunteer work but also support each NGO to producing skilled leaders.

Do Good Academy is an idea to empower the leaders of the NGO sector to enable their organization's goals to be met strong in our days, "he said.

Meanwhile, Amanda said, as NGOs have strengthened their skills and abilities in order to do a good change in society.

"Our vision is to develop leaders and NGOs can help make their organizations operate more effectively and sustainably.

"The mission also is to enhance capacity building and community leaders actuators so that they can meet their organization's goals, empowering leaders to operate in a more sustainable and unites the leaders strengthen networking and collaboration.

This we call the sharing, learning and collaboration. Academy 'Do Good' will cover six areas of competency business skills, leadership, networking, technology, and management of funds, "he said.

He added that the competencies will be exposed to four control modules on the individual skills, leadership, effort and integrity.

Academy 'Do Good' fielding training programs conducted by professional trainers and experienced in various fields.
