2016 AND OUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT |

2016 was a unique year for people who cherish environmental protection. Of course, I am talking about the Paris climate agreement. Esp. the signing of the climate act was a long awaited crown for developing nations like Ethiopia. The Paris climate deal has given millions of people in developing countries to have faith in humanity and the shared values that we commonly have to protect this planet. A number of nations have now started the process of adopting the resolution by their respective legislative bodies and signing it into law. The process however, has not been accelerated as one wish. |

Hi Olansis, you're right. Although the agreement was made, the international community will have to continuously cooperate to salvage the future. I'm also on the same page that more incentives should be given to clean energy and transition to a sustainable society. Well, hope you had a good year and happy new year!

Very nicely portrayed report. 2016 have been a stepping stone towards achieving our environmental goals. But still we have to go a long way towards environment protection and conservation. Signing of the climate deal unanimously should be the major focus in 2017.
