A Necessary Hike, Earth Day and Tree |
---|

The earth day 22 of the land and the 29th day of the tree were great days for us so as necessary we went out to walk and perform a little cleaning to the road that is throughout the mountainous system of the city of Fusagasuga, which would come as roads made by the natives and were also traveled by the Spanish conquistadors in their passage through Colombia, the thickness of the forest has diminished markedly by that of the excessive agricultural development of the last times, so we also did a sowing Both of native trees of our region as a spiritual planting .... meditation and a section of yoga to strengthen the human being and nature realcion. Also thinking about climate change we have the Sotobosque system that are shrub species whose production of biological matter and foliage capture a good amount of carbon. In the collection of waste were 2 bags of about 8 kilos each ... with candy paper, PET bottles and other food packaging elements. To not only stay in terms of an ecological walk, we think of an effective talk on how the local government can carry out an exlusive carbon sink scheme, inspired by the words of UNFCCC secretary Patricia Espinosa The actions must be of all the actors both local, social and national as well as private ... so as projection that is the idea .. influence in the decision making .. fulfilling the agenda 2030 and all the special conjuncture in which Is living. I hope you are pleased with the reading, greetings |

Hello Daniel, great to know that the mountains of Fusagasuga are cleared of plastics and other trash. It's good that you were on a productive hike. I'm working towards the UN SDGs too. I would be happy to assist you if you need any help :)

Daniel, thank you for your report. Such an inspiration! I believe protecting environment starts from our daily life. Just like you did, taking a walk and picking up trash will do. I believe many ambassadors will go out and do the same after reading your article.
