Green Creativity with Orphans!!

by Prakriti Dhakal | 31-07-2017 00:26 recommendations 3

Service indeed gives a satisfaction..
with the motto of Go Green my journey reached at an Orphanage!! where thousands of dreams were shining.

Sharing the knowledge of green savings with Solid waste management, self responsibility to save nature, ideas about climate change and its mitigation i spent my few hours there which made connection for years and years with such beautiful hearts.

There was total 45 children with the age of ranging 3-19, I was awestruck seeing thein enthusiasm on learning and their close family relationships with each others strong bond as own siblings.
I believe creativity starts when we nurture that so we gave them painting book, color,Pencil, Tunza's scale and Pen.
This isnot enough so i urge all the kind hearted people to have a look at such future leaders whose dreams are on our hands, we are their parents so its upon us to show the direction..

I am very much greatful to our Regional ambassador Sujan Adhikari and former Regional ambassador Rahul Acharya for accepting my invitation and supporting throughout the program.

I will be there again with drawing competition on topic : Children in Peaceful Green Environment
Hope to get suggestions from green family :)

This is mind blowing. People hardly think of orphans when planning for programs on green sustainability. Why should they bother them?, Most people ask. But Prakriti has shown us that much more that the awareness and exposure to knowledge and how to do things is the love you spread. You can't imagine the impact you must have made by spending time with these children. Indeed, there are the stars we've been waiting for.

Truly inspiring initiative! Coming together of Tunza Ambassadors is really praiseworthy. It must have helped in the coordination and planning of the event. Orphan children mostly do not get opportunity to get knowledge on environment and climate change. Your event must have enriched their awareness on sustainability of the environment as when we work in unison the impact is always larger.

Great initiative Prakriti. You spread happiness and awareness through this event. I am sure the children enjoyed your company as well as learnt alot from the knowledge you imparted them. Collaboration with senior E gen members must have added to the success of the event. Thanks for sharing the report with us. It inspires all of us to follow your footsteps.
